When is it necessary to request a 'Application for Permanent NLIS Device'? 

 

When ordering NLIS tags in Queensland, a NLIS Device Approval Form is required. Please see option below to assist with organising the 'NLIS Device Approval Form':

Option 1: Log in via your RBE Log In, on the left hand side there is a option called 'Order NLIS Device', click on this then select your PIC and 'Submit'. The required form will be emailed through to your email within the hour. This is the form/details we require. 

Option 2: Phone 13 25 23 for all general enquiries between 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

Option 3: Email sales@avocaid.com and a DPI Authority form will be emailed through to you for signing, this will allow AVOCA iD to organise the 'NLIS Device Order Form' on your behalf.

Option 4: Contact your local DPI Representative and they will be able to organise for you. 

What is an RBE application?

It is an application to become a ‘Registered Biosecurity Entity’. Note: Anyone who currently has a PIC Number is automatically classed as a ‘RBE’, however in line with the DPI changes as at 1 July 2016, these will expire on 1 July 2019, unless renewed at that time (fee’s involved – please see DPI website for further information).

How long will my order take to arrive?

Depending on the time of year, i.e. EOFY=Busy etc there are busy times and quieter periods therefore the ordering to dispatch timeframe can range anywhere between 8 to 14 business days from the date the order is processed. If in doubt, please place the order as Express Post or Startrack Premium.
